Fidel Birhan Charitable Organization (FBCO) is a board-led, volunteer-based non-governmental organization established in September 2020 by experienced professionals from national and international NGOs, UN agencies, and government institutions. FBCO was founded with a shared commitment to advancing sustainable development, humanitarian response, peacebuilding, and social justice across Ethiopia.
Operating through a holistic Humanitarian–Development–Peace (HDP) nexus approach, FBCO delivers timely and impactful programs in education, youth empowerment, peacebuilding, livelihoods, shelter and non-food items (NFI), WASH, food security, human rights, and access to justice.
FBCO currently operates in multiple regions of Ethiopia including Oromia, Amhara, Afar, Tigray, Somali, Gambella, and SNNP, with regional satellite offices and strong partnerships at local, national, and international levels.
